Fetrion evaluates design, testing and component needs together in the transition of electronic products from prototype to production. The scope of the work is determined according to the structure of the card, conditions of use and production quantity.
01
Validate the design with prototype
During the prototype phase, power supply, inputs and outputs, communication and basic functions are examined. The aim is to measure whether the design exhibits the expected behavior and to identify changes before production. Existing design files and test results, if available, are included in the initial evaluation.
02
Product-appropriate testing approach
The scope of methods such as functional testing, optical control or in-circuit testing is planned according to the product. Considering test points and acceptance criteria during design facilitates production control. It should not be assumed that the same tests will be applied in every project.
03
SMT/DIP assembly and preparation for production
Design files, material list, assembly information and target production quantity are evaluated for card typesetting and assembly. The manufacturability and assembly suitability approach ensures that the design that works in the prototype is also considered in production conditions.
04
Component supply and equivalent evaluation
Component availability, lifespan and equivalent options are important for the project. Merely matching the physical dimensions of a substitute may not be enough; Its electrical properties and its relationship with the software should also be checked. You can share the material list, quantity and mandatory component preferences, if any, for the offer.
Technical questions and answers
What files are required for the quote?
If available, card production files, material lists, assembly information and test expectations can be shared. The extent of the deficiencies is determined in the initial evaluation.
Can I apply only for component supply or prototype?
The scope of design, supply, prototype, testing or production services can be determined separately by discussing your needs.
What is Prototype, Testing and Production?
Electronic prototype; It is one of the first examples prepared to evaluate the specific functions and application conditions of a design. In mass production, the aim is to repeat the same design with defined methods and acceptance criteria. The operation of the prototype does not alone indicate that the production process is ready.
Is an employee card sufficient production verification?
A single example does not represent all production variables. Acceptance criteria, testing scope and production process are also evaluated.
What files are prepared for production?
Depending on the manufacturer and project scope, card printouts, component list, assembly data, software version and test instructions may be requested.
